Coroplast or aluminum composite: which sign material for the job

4mm coroplast is the short-term sign: a corrugated plastic board, printed direct, zip-tied to the fence and thrown away when the job closes. Pick it for anything under a year. 10 x 14 inch $12.98, 12 x 18 $16.98, 18 x 24 $26.98, 24 x 36 $44.98, 36 x 48 $79.98.

3mm aluminum composite (ACM) is the long-term sign: two aluminum skins over a solid core, UV printed, rigid, and reusable from site to site. Pick it for the gate sign, the office sign and anything that has to survive the sun for years. A 3M engineering grade reflective option is available for signs that have to read at night.

Vinyl labels of the same legends are on most product pages for doors, equipment and the inside of the trailer.

Our business has greatly enjoyed working with Mike Bublick and his team at Print Pro AZ. It's so seamless: we send him the plan set, and he sends us back all the stickers and placards we need to pass final inspection. I appreciate Mike's follow-through and expediency on every job we send his way. Couldn't be happier!

The company I work for has been using Print Pro for several years. Mike Bublick has been great at getting us exactly what we need. The engraving on the products has been excellent and Mike has been stellar in having our products turn out better than we'd expected. I highly recommend Print Pro (and Mike) to anyone looking for professional printing, signs and engraving.

... I gave them my electrical plans and highlighted the labels I needed from the drawings and they were very familiar with electrical drawings. I was impressed with how quick they jumped on the order. They had it done and ready to go by the end of the day. ...

Job site signs, answered

What signs does OSHA require on a construction site?

OSHA 1926.200 requires danger, caution and safety instruction signs wherever a hazard exists, with the ANSI Z535 header colors: red for danger, yellow for caution. In practice a site posts a PPE required sign at every entrance, no trespassing on the perimeter, and hazard signs at the specific hazards: open trench, overhead work, confined space.

Coroplast or aluminum: which should I order?

Coroplast for a job under a year or a sign that will not be reused; it is the cheapest rigid sign and goes in the dumpster at the end. Aluminum composite for gate and office signs, anything in full sun for years, or a sign you will move to the next project.

Do you have bilingual job site signs?

Yes. The PPE dress code, no trespassing, do not enter, construction area rules and site safety signs are all stocked in English and Spanish bilingual versions.

Can you add our company logo or site rules?

Yes. Send the logo file and the text, and we proof a custom sign in the same materials and sizes as the stock signs. Quote it from the list, not one at a time.

What sizes do GCs usually buy?

24 x 36 for gate and perimeter signs, 18 x 24 for PPE and entrance signs, 12 x 18 and 10 x 14 for doors and equipment. Most product pages carry all of them.

How fast do construction signs ship?

Stock signs are printed in Phoenix and ship by FedEx; custom signs ship after you approve the proof. Ask on the quote if you have a mobilization date and we work to it.

Do you do the electrical labels for the same project?

Yes. Arc flash labels, engraved nameplates, wire and cable labels and pipe markers, all from the same commercial jobs desk.
