Acetone NFPA 704 Diamond Sign: Health 1, Flammability 3, Instability 0
Post the correct NFPA 704 rating for acetone on storage cabinets, drum racks, solvent rooms and lab doors. Acetone carries a 1-3-0 rating: Health 1 (slight hazard), Flammability 3 (ignites at normal temperatures, flash point below 73 F), Instability 0 (stable). No special hazard symbol applies. Confirm ratings against your supplier's Safety Data Sheet, Section 16, before posting.
